Marketplace of Goodness

Goods and services from artisans with unlimited possibilities.
Dignity through work, not through pity.

Social Support Education Entrepreneurship

Project Philosophy

Talent exists. No infrastructure.

People with disabilities have skills, talent, and the desire to work — yet standard marketplaces remain out of reach: they lack knowledge, resources, and support. Society sees a person with a disability through the lens of need, not capability. The result is isolation, financial dependence, and invisible talent.

Honest work changes well-being

Access to an honest labor market — without disability discounts, with infrastructural support — significantly improves psychological well-being, self-esteem, and social inclusion for people with disabilities. This can be verified through standardized well-being scales before and after platform participation.

A marketplace where the artisan is the author

A digital platform where artisans with disabilities sell goods and services of their own making — not as recipients of charity, but as professionals. The foundation handles the platform, verification, promotion, accounting, and community. The artisan contributes their craft.

A problem of global scale

1.3 billion people with disabilities worldwide — and most are denied access to a fair labor market. Not because they lack skills — because there is no infrastructure. Global marketplaces are not adapted for people with disabilities. Marketplace of Goodness is the first Russian-language platform building this from scratch.

UN Sustainable Development Goals

The project directly advances four global SDGs — the UN 2030 Agenda:

SDG 8 Decent work and economic growth
SDG 10 Reduced inequalities
SDG 9 Industry, innovation and infrastructure
SDG 17 Partnerships for the goals

Applicability: Russia · CIS / BRICS · UN and ILO programs · Russian-speaking diaspora

1.3 billion people with disabilities worldwide
12.7 million in Russia (Rosstat, 2023)
×2 higher unemployment among PWD

Not faith — data

NIC MIR research track: surveying artisans at onboarding and every 3 months — anxiety, self-esteem, sense of belonging, income. Current readiness TRL 3–5 → target TRL 8–9.

Economic empowerment of people with disabilities, including access to markets and entrepreneurship, is a priority of the UN inclusion framework.

People with disabilities of any age and region of Russia who create goods or services — handmade items, digital creativity, education, translations, illustrations, and consulting. Apply through the “Join the program” form.

80% of each transaction goes directly to the artisan. Transparent, with reporting, no intermediaries. The remaining 20% supports platform infrastructure: verification, promotion, accounting, and development.

No. There is no place for pity here — every artisan is a seller, not a beneficiary. Prices are fair, without “disability discounts.” By purchasing, you choose a unique item with a story and give the artisan the opportunity to work.
